The écoute audio TH1 Wins a "Best of NAMM Award"
Share
A few weeks ago, écoute audio was at NAMM 2025, giving hundreds of attendees their first listen to the revolutionary TH1 headphones. For those unfamiliar, NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) is one of the biggest music industry events in the world. Every year, over 100,000 musicians, producers, engineers, and industry professionals from across the globe gather to ‘nerd-out’ about the latest and most exciting products and gear. Think of it like a Comic-con for recording industry professionals. What better a place to demo a headset that prides itself on accurate and lifelike rendering of music than to those who actually make music.
From recording artists and engineers to audiophiles and music lovers, everyone who tried them out was blown away by the wide soundstage, incredibly detailed midrange and the warm, natural tones that set the TH1 apart from anything else they have heard. (Well, there was that one guy who said he did not care for them—you know who you are if you are reading this.)
Our very first listener, a recording artist, said it best "That's what music sounds like!"
People were drawn in by the novelty of a vacuum tube built into a pair of headphones. But the moment they hit play, the response was unanimous (except that one guy ): pure audio bliss!
That’s exactly what happened when reviewers from Magnetic Magazine stopped by for a listen. After experiencing the TH1 firsthand, they didn’t hesitate. Right then and there, écoute audio was given a "Best of NAMM Award" on the spot. Oh hell yeah!
Winning a "Best of NAMM" award is huge, and we couldn't be prouder. The TH1 isn’t just another pair of high-end headphones—it’s a complete hi-fi system in a headset, built for those who listen. With its vacuum tube warmth, precision DAC, and dual-mono amplification, it delivers a listening experience that was once only possible with studio-grade rack systems.
To everyone who stopped by the écoute audio booth, listened, and shared their excitement—thank you—we had tons of fun talking to you and watching your reactions. We initially started down this road because we wanted to make our ideal headset. As rewarding as it has been to satisfy our desires for portable tube audio, sharing our creation with all of you has been even more rewarding.
Missed us at NAMM? Don’t worry—you can still catch a try-on event at AXPONA 2025 this April 11-13 and CanJam events later this year in Dallas, SoCal, and maybe London. If you find yourself at one of those events, definitely come by and say hello!
